To call Animal Clinic of Woodruff’s growth a success story would be an understatement. In the five years that ALINE has partnered with this Spartanburg-area, family-owned veterinary clinic, this once-small vet clinic has grown its number of veterinarians, expanded its loyal online following – and increased income almost 1000%!

When we started working with Animal Clinic of Woodruff in 2015, they were an established, family-friendly vet run by a local veterinarian and her husband. A new competitor and a dated website, however, were causing some business challenges. ALINE developed a comprehensive marketing strategy and then implemented it over the past five years – reading the data, tweaking and adjusting as needed – to help this small vet office grow.

Our ongoing work has included: website design, search engine optimization, content creation, social media strategies, paid digital advertising, print campaigns, website refreshing, and regular data assessment and adjustments to meet new goals and improve our strategy.

One of our first key recommendations was for the vet to add high-quality real images, instead of using stock photos, since a family’s relationship with their vet is usually quite personal. The vet office worked with a professional photographer, and we featured these images in their website and social media advertisements. Potential clients responded very well to being able to see the veterinarians and staff.

ALINE then focused on improving Animal Clinic of Woodruff’s social media platforms, as patients at veterinarian clinics often like to relate to their vet personally (and who doesn’t like to see cute puppy and cat photos?). Social media requires good content – which also helps with organic SEO – so we added regular blog creation as well. By running paid Facebook ads, Google ad campaigns, and writing and posting blogs at least twice/month, ACOW gained a lot of new clients and developed a loyal Facebook following of more than 6,200 followers.

To reach potential clients who may not be online, as well as to distribute important veterinary information, ALINE also developed several print pieces for the office.

Since partnering with ALINE, Animal Clinic of Woodruff:

• Has increased daily unique website visitors 425%
