Community Businesses Find Innovative Ways to Connect and Serve

During this time of uncertainty, the ALINE team is tipping our hats to the incredible outpouring of love and support happening throughout Spartanburg (and beyond!). We are especially energized to hear the unique and meaningful ways that our clients are staying connected and serving our community while social distancing.

Restaurants certainly are feeling the pinch right now as takeout dining is the only way to serve food. Local favorite Wade’s is offering a unique menu every day and bringing back some of their most popular menu items (like turkey and dressing) more frequently. Just give them a call and don’t worry about having to make lunch or dinner. Don’t forget to post a pic of your takeout meal at #greatamericantakeout!

Ballet Spartanburg is offering online classes for current students, which is a great way for our local dancers (and their families) to keep moving, learning and thriving in the arts! They are also now offering weekly CFDE (Creative Fun Dance Exercise), which are weekly fun exercises each week for students and parents.

We love hearing how AccessHealth Spartanburg is continuing to care for their clients by connecting the uninsured to the healthcare and other services that they need. Life still goes on while we are at home, and many in our community depend on the excellent care that AccessHealth provides. Call before you go; as with any business right now, how we connect matters.

And with each day starting to feel a lot like the one before…we need just the right jolt to jumpstart our morning. That’s where our favorite local coffee roaster comes in. Little River Roasting is offering mobile ordering, plus they’re now delivering coffee and bread within a 5-mile radius of their hub! Bless the good folks at Little River for starting our mornings off right!

It’s times like these that we need each other most. We are so proud to get to partner with each of these incredible businesses, and we’re truly inspired by how they’re digging deep and staying connected to the community. We hope you’ll continue to support Spartanburg businesses. All we can do right now is be there for each other, more and more each day. Let’s continue to encourage one another and highlight more of the good happening around us!
