A Toast to Local Brands in 2014!

In 2014, A-LINE Interactive employees put a stake in the ground when we decided that our mission would be to help local businesses and organizations understand and embrace effective marketing programs. We admitted to ourselves that it was a lofty goal, but ultimately, when people thought of Spartanburg, we wanted to be one of the first businesses that came to mind. And off we went to work.

Over the past 12 months, A-LINE has partnered with 19 locally owned small businesses and community-focused non-profits. We’ve launched websites, designed logos, penned marketing plans and together implemented comprehensive communications programs. Before the clock strikes midnight and the curtain falls on the past year, we thought we’d raise a toast to these friends and neighbors who are helping transform the way Spartanburg does business.

So without further ado, a Toast to...


Little River Roasting chose 2014 as the year to take its local product national. With A-LINE’s support, the company is selling its acclaimed coffee beans online and reaching new fans across the country. As Little River grows alongside our great city, we think that a lot more folks will hear about Spartanburg in the upcoming months.


We are most proud of the work that we’ve done to support local non-profits and their efforts to improve our communities. Partners for Active Living (PAL), Middle Tyger Community Center, the Workforce Investment Board and the Hampton Heights Neighborhood Association all trusted A-LINE with interactive projects. Thanks to the work of these and other devoted organizations, our community will continue to thrive in 2015.


Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium has seen many renovations and building improvements over recent years. In 2014, the organization decided it was time for a website update as well. Working with A- LINE, the end product promotes events among locals and visitors alike, helping our city buzz with excitement and fun.


That Realty Group is the area’s newest realtor team devoted to helping individuals and families in the Greenville, SC, area find and purchase their perfect homes. With an A-LINE-designed brand, along with an intuitive and beautiful website, we hope to play just a small role as the young company takes the local real estate market by storm.


Part of the excitement in Spartanburg is centered on its physical growth. Clients such as The Highlands Group and Roebuck Buildings continue to impress us with stunning building projects and renovations, many of which are close to home. A special hat-tip to our pal Michael Holmes and his budding business, Squeegee Clean, for keeping our community landmarks looking clean and new. With its updated brand, marketing materials and website, we’re sure that Spartanburg will sparkle even brighter in 2015.


Spartanburg mainstay Smithworks Fine Jewelry decided to update not only its website, but its entire social media presence. Working with A-LINE, the new site displays the store’s complete collection, while its Facebook page has grown by 600 fans in only two months thanks to a coordinated and more strategic approach to the platform.

Pink on Main worked with A-LINE to launch a new website and were so enchanted by the end product that we’ve already designed and produced three additional print pieces on its behalf, with more to come in 2015.

Meanwhile, Haute Mama, one of the winners of the Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce’s Main Street Challenge, worked with A- LINE to launch a new website. Showcasing the store’s diverse products and the community it provides for expectant and new parents, we’ve helped make sure that our city’s youngest citizens have all the gear they need even before they make their grand entrances to the world.

Not to forget Sparkle City newcomer Bella Vision, whose custom photography set the stage for a striking website that showcases the store’s eyewear but also makes it easy to make an appointment.

And finally, our friends at Twill in Greenville entrusted A-LINE to design and build a website as trendy as the store’s collection. The end result is as unique and sophisticated as the boutique and one of our designer’s favorites from the past year.

Who knew that the Refshauges were so on trend? Thanks to these stylish clients, Spartanburg will be looking spiffier than ever in the new year.

We’ve always loved our pets, and working with Pine Street Animal Hospital made us all the more thankful for the professionals who help keep them healthy. An updated brand, shiny new website and a strategic online advertising campaign continues to help the practice grow and lay groundwork as it plans for some really exciting news in 2015.


Wow! It’s been a busy year and we are so grateful to each of the clients who have played a part. The energy and enthusiasm we’ve seen is unmatched; and it’s given us a new resolve to continue our work in Sparkle City for years to come.
